BarasinghaIt is a type of deer found in India and Nepal. This 12-antlered deer are very beautiful species. It is also called Swamp Deer. Its height upto 130 cm and the maximum weight could be 180 kg. They are herbivores so they eat tall grasses and leaves. They like Marshes or swampland to live. The Barasingha is found in India in Gangetic and Brahmaputra basins.
